Years ago I found an old range Rover for one of my kids. It needed work but my son loved it. The plan was to complete the transaction at his return from a holiday weekend so I got the cash on Friday and waited for his call. I started calling around noon on Monday (maybe Labor Day) and left...
Years ago I had one older fellow selling a SS Security Six I wanted and he wanted everything over the phone. No email and no texts per the ad. Turns out he hated computers and and didn't have text service. His wife would put the ads in ODT and he would wait for a call. I am sure it hurt his...
So what is going to happen with the proliferation of self driving cars? Will it allow one to violate the speed limit? Will it pull over from the left lane? My guess is that self driving cars will make grandma look like a formula 1 driver due to the potential liability in an accident. As for...
Same thing happened to me. I had a pinched nerve and I went to the neurologist. After x-rays and a MRI he says your neck looks like crap but it isn't causing your pain. Try this neck stretching device and see if that helps. After a couple of weeks of with no change I just upped the advil...
While I understand how this works I don't get WHY it is working. I cannot see first time buyers hitting ODT to make their first purchase as they would have to know what they want and willing to pay new prices (or higher) for used guns. The same is true about ammo as I am not seeing any...
I don't care what somebody lists ammo at but PLEASE don't trick me by putting a normal price on an undersized amount of ammo. I got a email ad from big supplier saying $150/case. I had to click through multiple pages to find it was a 200 round case. Sorry - unless it is in a spam can a case...
I really like the ads with multiple guns shown and you get to figure out which is the one for sale. Also I am sure the site appreciates those trying to save server space by having multiple guns for sale in the same ad.
Please! Please! Don't stop posting offers in the thread. Where else am i going to get to blow coffee through my nose at some of these offers? If nothing else it shows the bottom bid so I only need to beat it!
I am confused. I didn't realize there was a waiting period to give lowball offer especially since I have seen them on the "Deal of the Day" minutes after someone posted "I take it". OP -- don't wait and offer away. he worst that could happen is they put your on the ignore list.
Maybe that needs to be a new money generating feature for the site. For an extra xx$/year you get email/text notification every time a "Deal of the Day" is listed.
You don't need to have a CCW to be on ODT but it would be nice if you knew some geography or at least how to use Google maps. The people who show Atlanta as the home location but are 3+ hours away is disappointing when looking at the classifieds.
