I must not know what I'm doing with mine. It's just ok for fries, good for hot dogs or brats, and that's about it. My GF likes grilled cheese sandwiches made in it, but I'd rather do mine in a skillet on the stove. For everything else I find it gets too messy too quickly and it's more of a...
I have the regular Bullseye 380 and it's great for what it is and at $400. I personally don't feel like the deluxe is worth twice as much, especially considering that price is getting into 590 territory.
As for what was said about the Bullseye's smoking abilities, I haven't had any issue...
I was baking a cake a few months back and completely forgot to add baking powder and salt. Needless to say, the cake didn't rise at all and I ended up throwing the whole thing in the trash.
As for the dog getting stuff, a few years ago I had fried 3 lbs of deer cube steak and had it all piled...
I used to use an egg and a handful of bread crumbs in my venison burgers to help them hold together without issue. Now I just do a 50/50 mix of ground bacon/ground venison.
I saw that. It looks nice, but I already thought the Bullseye was overpriced for what it is at $400. I just don't see another $400 or even $300 worth of value there, especially on something so small. If was going to spend that much, I'd just go ahead and get one of their bigger grills.
As the only cook in my house, I had to learn how to bake if I wanted homemade baked goods. I haven't done a pound cake in a while. I'm gonna have to make one here soon.
Ew, no! Stay away from regular Jameson. It's good for making Irish car bombs and that's about it. 18yr Jameson is very good, but around $120+ last time I actually saw it anywhere.
At around the same price as regular Jameson, Slane is a much better bottle of Irish whiskey. I happened across it...
I've tried this twice on my B380. I don't remember temps and time on the first try, but last night I did 30 min at 225 and 45 at 450. Turned out dang near burnt. They were definitely crispy though.
The Margaret Holmes Italian green beans are my favorite right now, but I like pretty much all green beans. Though I have had some from restaurants that were terribly seasoned and almost couldn't eat them.
Well, I cheat and use store bought sauce rather than attempting to make my own and possibly not liking it. The mild isn't really spicy at all, but the medium isn't bad either. I'd prefer it to be spicier, but my girlfriend would probably complain.
I've had the same issue with soggy tortillas...
What?! NO!!! There is green enchilada sauce in a can (admittedly I never looked to see what difference is from regular verde sauce) but I mix green enchilada sauce and verde in crock pot. For all I know, I'm just mixing verde with a different brand of verde.
I use flour tortillas and cook my chicken in the crockpot with enchilada sauce and medium Verde sauce. Mixture is usually just chicken, cheese and Verde sauce.
My secret ingredient is a homemade bean dip that goes in each one. I don't fry mine before baking though, I might have to try that.
I guess I should update this since I bought one. I recently found the Camp Chef Everest 2x at Academy for $135. About $20 cheaper than anywhere else had it. Good bit more expensive than the Coleman Classic, but I just don't trust any of Coleman's newer production stoves.
Looking to buy a 2 burner propane camping stove. Wondering if anyone here has any recommendations for one that isn't a Coleman brand and maybe not made in China? I was looking at Coleman's, but see way too many bad reviews mentioning not actually being able to adjust heat/flame. Pretty much all...
