    Half a pork loin and some pounded chicken breast topped with pimento cheese going on this afternoon.

    I'm the wierd guy that snatches all the hearts and livers from everyone at camp. Hearts get sliced like onion rings, dusted with garlic salt and pepper and done in a little bacon fat for about 35 seconds per side to mid rare. Livers make some fine boudin at home.

    Last of the tomatoes with chorizo and blue cheese and some tenderloins and a couple of bacon wrapped steaks to round it out

    Coat liberally with this and a bit of brown sugar. I usually slice jalapenos in half and insert a few in between muscle groups as well. prepare as usual and you will have a semi spicy treat that makes great tacos with a bit of a different flavor.

    They're just jalapeños, cayenne, tobasco and a couple scotch bonnets. I haven't added the hot peppers yet

    I'm thinking i need to pull about 5bls of deer trimmings out of the freezer, pick the last of the peppers and maters from the garden and get a pot started.

    Rice is for curry and potatoes (of any sort or preparation) are only fit for cattle feed or to be shot from a potato gun. But you nailed it with the onions and cheese!

    Absolutely delicious!! Those yellow peepers are a bit on the warm side though.....
