  1. Help Identifying an Old Revolver. Possible Mas1873/1874, Chamelot Delvigne

Any markings on the cylinder face? This may not be a Fagnus, as it has a safety latch. German revolvers of this time tended to employ those. Interesting piece. Is it for sale?
  2. Help Identifying an Old Revolver. Possible Mas1873/1874, Chamelot Delvigne

Almost certainly a Belgian Fagnus revolver, but that bow and arrow marking is interesting...very similar to the old Izhevsk logo.
  3. FAL Clone questions

Built on an Australian Lithgow parts kit.
  4. Browning

FN Browning Model 1922. Yep, German Waffenamnts on it. Looks like something else there, but can't tell.
  5. Enfield No.1 mk iii

As stated, P '07 bayonets are very common. It's the ones that still retain the hooked quillions that fetch the money.
  6. Enfield No.1 mk iii

London Small Arms No 1 MkIII. They never went with the *** designation and kept the mag cutoff throughout the Great War.
  7. Arisaka type I

These are excellent rifles. I've owned many. As stated, made by Italy for Japan...mostly for the Imperial Japanese Navy according to some sources. These are kind of a niche rifle, as a lot of people really don't know what they are. Virtually devoid of markings, they don't even sport the Imperial...
  8. How is the milsurp market these days?

Well, I don't have my real holy grail yet, but if I could find an SMLE that had genuine, 100% proof that it had been at Gallipoli, that would never be sold. Hell, I'd be buried with it.
  9. First time shooting Turkish Mauser

This being a model 1893, I wouldn't shoot too much surplus Turkish ammo out of it. Commercial 8mm is the way to go with these.
  10. Looking for a couple of parts for a 88 Commision carbine

I had no idea. Well that sucks.
  11. Looking for a couple of parts for a 88 Commision carbine

This was an 88/05/36 I had.
  12. Looking for a couple of parts for a 88 Commision carbine

Pic of yours. Yours has the standard rear sight, and straight bolt, so it was a full length infantry rifle at one time. Hell, if you decide to let it go, I need a new winter project!
  13. Looking for a couple of parts for a 88 Commision carbine

Hm. Interesting. It looks like a shortened 88/05/36. An '88/05 that was updated in the '30s to be 'standardized'. Pic here.
  14. Looking for a couple of parts for a 88 Commision carbine

Ebay, Numrich, Sarco, I'd even check with Deer Creek guns in Marietta. However, if this is a carbine, it's either a kar88 or a Gew91, so those parts might be a bit harder to find. Also, these are not Mausers. Paul Mauser was actually a bit pissed he wasn't put on the commission that actually...
  15. Help in identifying an old rifle please.

Italian Vetterli 70/87/15 marked AOI. 'Africa Oriental Italiana' (Italian East Africa) these were rifles supplied to Italian Colonial troops after WW1. Used during the second. If your friend is interested in selling it, let me know.
  16. British commonwealth rifle and marking ID

Both blade and spike types were used, if memory serves, the blade variant appeared around 1950-51. You can find Faz marked, bayos, but any will do
  17. British commonwealth rifle and marking ID

    MK1 above, MK2 below.
  18. British commonwealth rifle and marking ID

Post-war Fazackerley (F) manufacture, the MK2 designation differs from the MK1 in that on the MK2 the trigger is fitted to the receiver as opposed to the trigger guard. PF was a prefix designated to Fazackerley.
  19. British commonwealth rifle and marking ID

    Show me what ya got.
