That is awesome!
I want a war time M1 carbine so bad...I have no idea of whereabouts to look for one, or where the prices are these days. I am guessing they are pretty high right now...I would not paying the going price for a good example. I really want a Rock Ola.
Nvm...I see when they will be available. Man, I'm kind of glad it will be 4 days..Maybe that will give me time to come to my senses about those prices...SMH
Oh? OK then!
So now the $1500 question is when do they go on sale?
I know they are asking way too much, but I really would like to get a decent Rock Ola before I croak...Not that I plan on doing that anytime soon.
I had one of these. Mine was unfired, from the mid to late 50's. I sold it some time ago to one of the best guys on the ODT, but it was a very nice SKS, and I probably should have kept it. Oh well, it's in good hands.
I have always liked them myself. I think they are really cool and agree they make good defense rifles. My uncle, who was a scout in Patton's third Army carried one throughout the war, so I have always had a nostalgic place for them.
I may keep it and teach my son with it. He is already...
They look similar...I am no expert so you are seeing things I know nothing about. Yes It has a heat shield top handguard.
It is a cool gun, and is light and comfortable. I may keep it, but I don't really need it.
I can't find any manufacturers markings, only a serial number and the caliber. Serial is located on top, back side of receiver, like all m1's if I'm not mistaken.
This Inland (I believe) m1 carbine is in immaculate condition. I really like it but am undecided if I will keep it or not. I have other wants at the moment. I'm hoping some of our site gurus can give me a fair appraisal if I decide to trade it. It also has 4 mags and sling. I'm not very...
Most American soldiers would walk right by a K98 in search of a Luger for a souvenir. When German soldiers found American weapons most of them were not looking for a Garand of 1911, but rather an M1 carbine. I always found that interesting.
The feel of it made me buy it. The sights are, well, meh, but the pistol feels and points very naturally. The DA pull is stout. LOL...Seriously, I feel like I need to do more pull ups.
I've owned several Maks and this is the first PP copy I've ever owned. The deal was exceptional so I had to pounce. I have been on the lookout for another Bulgarian PM when I found this one, so this should scratch the itch for now.
They had a lot of smoking deals in there today.
Pawn shops can turn up sometimes, but same as the gun show dealers, you have to sift through the crackheads (various shops) to find them. They are out there, occasionally.
