Here's something I was thinking of. Did FN make K98 rifles under German occupation during WW2? I know they made pistols for the Germans, but I've never heard of a FN code for a K98.

My M1 carbine fails to feed on the last round in the magazine every time. Its like the magazine doesn't sit high enough for the round to slide up the feed ramp and instead it gets stuck hitting below the feed ramp. Has anyone else seen this issue? I have KCI mags and a Jay Scott 30 rounder and...
Bore condition would be a big factor in value. The bolts on carcanos weren't serialized and I don't think they are on Type I's so matching serial numbers is not really a factor. As long as it's not a rust bucket it should be safe to shoot with whatever 6.5 jap ammo you can find
