  1. Arisaka T38/T99 Stock and Handguard

They are on EBay. Unfortunately they are pretty expensive, looked to be nice sets though. Upper handguard and lower stock sets available with or without hardware. Hope this helps

Possibly my favorite bolt action of the Great War. I’ve got a sporter Remington that was my dads and a ERA P14. I need one of these

  5. M1 Garand clip loader

Ok you guy go easy on me but I was completely unaware that “top round right” was a thing. I have several hundred rounds on clips and they are loaded both ways. Never had a problem. What did I miss and should I be unloading all the bastard “top round LEFT” clips?
  6. How is the milsurp market these days?

I scored some gp11 a while back at a small gun shop locally for around $.40/round and I bought every 10 round box they had. But haven’t seen any since so I’ve been sitting on the last couple hundred rounds. He also had HXP for fairly cheap. I visit his shop weekly to see if he’s put any other...
  7. How is the milsurp market these days?

Food for them is the hardest part of collecting IMO, ive resorted to rolling my own. ESP for the semi autos. I don't trust a lot of the old ammo. Burn characteristics all out of spec from sitting.
  8. How is the milsurp market these days?

The day I brought her home,i was so proud
  9. How is the milsurp market these days?

@10thmountain, She is still one of the best shooters I have. Also turns a few heads at the Gun Club. Thanks again for a bucket list rifle

  11. Please identify this FN-49???

yup!!! That’s it, thanks bud. I recall checking Numrich before but I guess I didn’t. I really appreciate the heads up and referral.
  12. Please identify this FN-49???

I believe the writing on the receiver and sights is called Farci?? I think? My Egyptian has the same but it’s been colored filled bright yellow and green....for some reason. And century beechwood stock but does sport brass buttplate instead of the plastic century buttplate. Just a little advice...

So very cool, I’ve layed in bed dreaming of finding something like this. Congratulations I assume this one will be a keeper?
  14. How is the milsurp market these days?

The HRA is by far the prettiest queen in my safe. Surrounded by a lot of ladies but she’s the queen. Thanks again @10thmountain for my first Garand!!
  15. Soft case that will fit a Swiss K31 comfortably?

I came across the same problem with the k31 and mosin. I just started taking the bolt out and storing it in the zipper pouch or in the ammo box. If your safe is like mine it’s chaos and most of the bolts are out and laying on the top shelf to let them stack better and help prevent dings and...
  16. CMP 1911 lottery

Oh yea!!! I think I’ve got one of those...but mine has a gay looking dancing pony on the side
  17. CMP 1911 lottery

    What’s a 1911?
  18. C&R renewal

I myself thought about applying for a C&R but like previously stated, there isn't much available that somebody hasn't already snatched up and trying to flip. Ive had decent luck at several local pawn shops and the small private dealers at gunshows. Ill buy up this newer stuff (modern...
  19. K98 buying opportunity...

If you have a grand laying around burning a hole there is definitely worst ways to spend it. IMO theres a lot cooler milsurps out there for that kind of money but if that 98 holds a special place then snatch er up cause were not promised tomorrow so you might as well enjoy it while your here...
  20. Question for FN 49 owners

Chamber cast may be in order, can’t be too careful. Brownells has it fairly reasonable especially if you order enough to make shipping worth it
