  1. Shield vs. Shield Plus vs. Sig 365?

I actually thought the Shield Plus fits my hand better than the P365, which to me, feels a bit blocky. I'm hanging on to my regular Plus until I can find a deal on the Performance Center version.
  2. Ordered a Glock 43 Today

No, I ordered it by phone and emailed my department ID to get the LE price. I have my own FFL, so I sent a copy of that as well, but you could have it sent to any FFL you choose.
  3. Nickel Boron work by Secoa Tech/Ft. Daniel

I need at least one done like that myself. Looks great!
  4. Ordered a Glock 43 Today

So, to my surprise, I was able to pre-order a Glock 43 today, through GT Distributors. I'm just wondering how long it takes for the first $800 G43 to pop up on the ODT. I hope the supply is really good. I'll be sure to post a range review when I get it. I'm pretty excited. Getting a new gun...
  5. New Ruger CHARGER !!!! About time

http://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/851941-FS-Ruger-22-Charger-green-laminate-takedown-model I just received the one listed above. I was only able to get one, and if it doesn't sell soon, I'm going to transfer it to my personal collection in about a week.
  6. A word of caution for those who use FrogLube during the cold months...

I like the smell of FL, and it seemed to work well in the warm season. It also works with most of my other weapons in the cold weather too. I'm just not convinced it is superior to any to the other products I've used over the decades, which had no issues at all. Corrosion-X and Machine...
  7. A word of caution for those who use FrogLube during the cold months...

I've been happy with Machine Gunners Lube and will probably switch back to it. Never any issues. I'm sure there are at least dozens of other great choices out there, but it's worked good for me and seems to work equally as well with all of my firearms, and under any conditions I have subjected...
  8. A word of caution for those who use FrogLube during the cold months...

My intent here wasn't to insult anyone's favorite lube or hurt any feelings. I just thought I'd mention the issue I had in case it was an issue for somebody who just didn't realize it yet. If only one other person out there found the issue and addressed it before needing the weapon to function...
  9. A word of caution for those who use FrogLube during the cold months...

My Dan Wesson was thoroughly cleaned prior to using the FrogLube. It was bone dry. I'm guessing it just isn't as compatible with tight tolerances in cold weather. I'm having no problems with the Glocks or the AR-15, just the Dan Wesson and now that I've dug the STI out of hiding I've found it...
  10. A word of caution for those who use FrogLube during the cold months...

I didn't buy the fancy kit, just the 4oz bottle of their "CLP". There may be different directions with the kit. I think I'll be switching back to Machine Gunners Lube during the cold months.
  11. A word of caution for those who use FrogLube during the cold months...

I heated it up and wiped it down to the point that is looks dry and unlubed and it functions as shown in the video. Here's the "as directed" from the bottle: Apply to all surfaces, scrub until dirt, carbon, and fouling particles loosen. Wipe clean with bore patch, wipes, or micro-fiber...
  12. A word of caution for those who use FrogLube during the cold months...

I don't know if it's been brought up here before, but I thought I'd let everybody know that they may want to inspect their firearms for proper function if FrogLube is being used this cold time of the year. While going over my Dan Wesson ECO I noticed the slide was really sluggish. I did some...
  13. Glock 42...TAPE or NO TAPE.....help me out people!

I'm partial to the tape… (it's my business after all!) The production run will be cut in a little closer to the magazine release. This was just a photo of the prototype I made the day I received the gun.
  14. Regret

Old Springfield Champion with a factory green-ish finish and GI grips. It had a green tint, but wasn't like the new ones that are really green. I haven't seen another since then. It was just a great gun that I let slip away cheap to buy a Glock. Plenty of others have come and gone, but...
  15. 1911 Porn-Let's See What You Got

A couple of Dan Wesson .45 pistols. Specialist and ECO.
  16. Gunsmith needed!

www.gallowayprecision.com Galloway is a great one to send work to.
  17. Caracals vs Glock

I received the Caracal C from a distributor the other day, and it seems like a decent pistol. Your hand feels like it sits further foward, which balances out the pistol very well, and the bore axis is about a qarter inch lower. I got the standard sight model, since I don't like the idea of a...
  18. FT Does anyone know what this is and how much it is worth?

http://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27 The firearms discussion would be a more appropriate place to get information about it. Not trying to be rude, but that's where discussion and questions about guns go. Pretty cool little pistol though.
  19. help....question about tec 9

    Your fine. 100% good-to-go.
  20. ar-15 "Colt/Armalite" older AR for sale **CLONE GUN***

The double rollmark of "Armalite AR15" is suspicious. It doesn't look like the engraving/ rollmarks were done at the same time, and possibly three or more times by the looks of it. The bolt carrier is far different than what would have been included. It would probably be a fun gun to shoot in...
