Barrel, BCG and then trigger. That my order. Also gas system is important. If your not running a suppressor or sub sonic rounds that it’s most likely going to cycle. It’s just tuning it to the round your shooting , barrel length so it’s not over or under gassed.
Right now 6 arc is the way to go for ammo availability. For the 6 max I don’t see it taking off while it could be better just doesn’t have the $$ behind it for marketing like Hornady does for their products.
Would like to see a drop chart comparison of 6 max to 6 arc.
I haven’t looked into the 22 arc. I’m curious how it will do as a hunting platform. I’m m thinking smaller game only. 6 arc has had good success with that from what I’ve seen. Would like to shoot a deer with 6 arc and compare the wound cavity to my 300 blackout.
It blows 308 out of the water in elevation. 308 hits the trans-sonic zone at 880 yards. Reason being is it stays supersonic out to 1000 to 1200 yards depending on barrel length, and gas gun vs bolt gun. You will always get more pressure on a bolt gun. 52,000 psi on a gas gun and I believe 65000...
Yeah, I may have to tweak the gas system especially since I’ll be shooting at surprised may take a little playing around with.
I was just gonna grab one of these. That way I can keep it pretty simple for swapping it out.
Thank you guys! I was a little nervous on how it would come out as well, but pretty happy with the final product. I have a FDE suppressor I’m gonna throw on there and will make a great little Hunting package.
