I was impressed how well it handled that surplus ammo without hiccups. Went through 5 magazines without pausing and was appreciative of the shock absorbing stock.
Don’t notice these showing up in my corner of the state so I don’t have a value to put in it if I decide to part ways with it. Any...
Recently traded into this beast and have limited knowledge on them (other than years of saying I wish I could run my surplus spam can ammo through a semi auto). Came with 5 magazines that all shot flawlessly.
Any info about it would be helpful as I decide what to do with this beast (slide to...
Recently moved back to Georgia and landed near Savannah in Midway. Looking for suggestions on shops I can stop into when I am out and about, particularly those with good selections of used guns that may be rotating through.
When I lived in Augusta I liked Ponderosa trading and the various pawn...
Legally, I can make a pistol into a rifle as long as it meets barrel and overall length requirements without any sort of ATF paperwork right?
The reason I ask is I have had my eye on the PPS43 pistols, and think it would be quite fun to have the functioning folding stock on a rifle that...
Interested in a suppressed .22, possibly on a handgun and mountable on a rifle later. Any suggestions on dealers around GA, possibly close to Augusta, with decent prices? The big question, how much help can I expect to get from a dealer with navigating the paperwork? I have heard that many will...
Talked to a guy at a range the other day that said he built his AR for less than $500. I have had lots of guns, but no ARs, for $500 I would like to give one a shot, so any advice would be appreciated. I know the Plum Crazy lowers can be had for cheap, but what about the other components? Tools?
I have been thinking about getting an AR to tuck away in the safe since it seems like the price is falling out the bottom right now. Been seing them advertised for around $600 regularly online for awhile. Looking for advice on which cheap AR to go for (S&W, DPMS, Century...), and where one might...
I picked up a Nagant at a gun show awhile back. Paid nearly half as much for a box of ammo at the next show I went to. I do see good deals on J&G, what is not a good deal however is how much they charge for shipping their firearms, $20+ per gun.
Just got my C&R in the mail and can't wait to burn a hole through my credit card.
Aim Surplus has Mossins for $82.75 shipped - I doubt there are any less expensive
Wideners has Tokarevs and Makarovs for $199
What else have you seen recently at a rediculous price?
I know i just saw the...
Tired of using cheapo supplies to clean my guns, any suggestions for handgun/rifle rods and brushes? Used to have a heavy-duty one piece rod for cleaning my shotgun about 8 years ago but have long-since lost it and have been using weak multi-piece rods ever since.
Last gun show I went to every Tok was priced at 300+ both 9mm and 7.62. Ticked me off knowing that they sell for less than $200 online in like new condition with 2 mags and a holster. Would not expect to pay that at a show, and do not mind paying an extra $20-$40 in person but a $100 to $150...
I might be wrong but I don't believe your carry permit will help you at all at Walmart. I believe that they call in all background checks as company policy so a GA drivers license will do you as much good as your permit. Academy Sports calls in background checks even if you have a permit. What...
Please do keep us informed on the performance of these inserts, I am very interested for use in my Enfield with the .303 version. Don't really need one for the Mossin since that surplus 7.62x54r is still so available and cheap. Would definately put more rounds through the Enfield though.
Got it from J&G, cheaper than everyone else I know of online. Ill let you know once I get it and have a chance to take it out. At less than 5 bucks per 50rds it cannot be beat for a day at the range.
Just picked up a CZ 52 pistol that looks like it has never really been shot and ordered as case of surplus 7.62x25 1260rds for $122.81 shipped. Plan on getting a Tokarev online but was wondering if there are other options that I have not heard of to shoot this cheap ammo out of. I would love to...
Had not even considered the value in recycling alone. I have plenty of 5 gallon buckets that I will start dumping it into and decide what to do with it once they get full. Maybe separate the more desirable ammo out for ODT and recycle the rest.
