I don't disagree with any of these guys but for the $ i think you should give Rock Island a look. I have shot quite a few of these and they run great. Plus you can pick one up on here for around 350-400 bucks usually.
Made a deal with an ODTer on a 1911. During the deal he asked if I ever fooled with the NAA Minis. We both reached in our pockets and pulled out identical 22lr revolvers. Gotta love it!
I have a friend who loves the rifles. They seem to be a little more accepted. I will say this. Ugly or not, I'd rather have a Hi-Point than nothing at all!
Y'all please don't get me wrong. I'm not hating on Hi-Points. The guns go bang every time you pull the trigger. I've even picked up a couple in deals on here. It's just a whole lot of fun to make fun of em and I hope this is taken as just that. Fun.
I usually keep one around. I've had a few and every one fired everytime I pulled the trigger. I was actually surprised at the accuracy. Not a match gun, but it holds a reasonably tight group. It is every bit as reliable as my Glock, STI, KelTec, and Colt. As long as I can buy them for $100-$150...
I own an AK and an SKS. Both are fun, reliable guns. Both are simple to customize and a lot of aftermarket parts are available. If money is not the the issue I would take the AK but if you want an affordable rifle thats fun, dependable, and cheap, the SKS is a great way to go. I have never had a...
