Hipoint c9 pistol is my recommendation for those just needing a home defense tool, it’s ugly but it works.
a used mosseberg 500 or maverick 88 for shotgun
It’s a westing house American produced mosin that served in Finland during at least one war as it has the sa mark. If the magazine is force matched then the fins might have upgraded it.
finland did have m1891 in their territory left from the czarist years and captured rifles from the soviet...
Does it have a Finnish sling attachment points? It might be Finnish as well or someone just added that sling holder in the states
Also the sa in a box potentially on side of receiver that mostly out of picture
the M1 Garand was turning point in making the standard-issue military rifle semi-auto, before this bolt actions took to the battle more often. United States (yes germany also taught many lessons inovation-wise) led the way teaching the world the proper use of new technology in a war
the flower was called the mum, it represented the emperor of japan like a blessing. United States soldiers were asked to remove the mums and japanese soldiers removed them pre-surrender so the rifle could be surrendered in away not to dishonor the emperor. After ww2 the united states still...
make sure the barrel wasn't altered to shoot a caliber never offered at the factory. These riles were plentiful and cheap so lots of folks changed their caliber to a more common American caliber.
The rifle also had a scope mount installed at one time from the hole in the top of receiver, this...
the old design without the unnecessary magazine safety is the best. congratulations
I'm waiting to see reviews for the mark 4, its easier to take apart and put together but will it be as nice as the previous generations
the middle two look very early mauser-ish pre ww2 , the first one is m1 garand perhaps
the last two look like a ww1 or pre-ww1 variation with the bent round metal bits
beretta m9
The beretta m9 is a p38 updated for the modern day but unless it is a United States mil-surp it just seems unnecessary to me. The pistol is larger then it needs to be and is too heavy for the 9mm round when the cz75 proved that ergonomics can be perfect
Unless a rifle With tons of ammo super cheap shows up i’ll Never buy a ww2-prior French caliber.
Them and Italy would not use a universal caliber back then, but their rifles were quite beautiful
