If you do that, change your gas piston over to a KNS adjustable piston and you'll alleviate any gas issues. AKs are inherently overgassed so you more than likely won't run into any issue with a Saiga, the KNS will still make it a super soft regardless though.
My friend Taylor with Buhler Ballistics in Baton Rouge is a guru with suppressed 22s and threading barrels for them, he'd do you right. My friend has a 10/22 takedown that Taylor cut down and threaded for a Dead Air Mask for him, more quiet than a pellet gun.
Definitely get yourself a solid built import or get your own built by a reputable builder. There's just too many qc and out of spec issues with all of the US made offerings to gamble with. The Wasr is the best AK Century has to offer imo only because it's Romanian built on a Romanian chf barrel...
