I’m old fashioned as I really like steel and wood and classic cartridges. Here is my 1922 Brazilian Mauser in 7x57. Got another one being built by my gunsmith in 275 Rigby (fancy name for 7x57). Also have my rebarreled Portuguese Vergueiro in 7x57.
I recently rebuilt my Hy-Score 808 that I had when I was a mere lad of 8 or 10 years ol…. Some 60+ years ago. Parts were very hard to find, but I eventually got it together. It is based on the Diana 15.
I’ve got one listed that I got from the CMP. It has been rebuilt by them and is very accurate. I’m selling it because I wanted something a little more powerful. Ended up with a Beeman R7. It’s quite a bit more expensive, but worth it...
My Mini-14 was used by “certified” . It was shipped quickly and was double boxed like the CMP does. It looks almost new, not bad for a stainless synthetic stock $900 rifle.

Back when Classic would have a table at Eastman’s gun show in Macon, I purchased several milsurp rifles and a nice stainless Ruger Service Six 357 that was a police turn in. At least I was able to hold them for inspection. My main issue with Classic is their misrepresentation of the condition...
Ok…I bought an Inland M1 Carbine from them in early January. It was sold as NRA Good, but that must have been before the Ethiopian goat wagon dropped it in the desert. It was nasty with a very worn out bore. My FFL dealer tried to talk to them about it, to no avail. They refused to exchange it...
Being a 1911 user for 50 years, the CSX has enough features to interest me. Don’t care for polymer DA. striker fired autos. I did carry a S&W M39 when they came out, mainly due to its lightweight advantage. Didn’t keep it very long though. Don’t think those who were brought up on Glocks will...
