My personal opinion about price gouging is that it only applies to items that are necessary to sustain life. Such as masks food water etc. 1000 rounds of 9mm or another glock are not life sustaining at least for the moment. So if ssomebody wants to try and get $1000 for a glock 17 good luck...
Sounds like you have it all figured out then. I've just never seen anyone who does hunt hogs often run with a rig that like that. But it gets the job done for you so cool.
If your going to hunt hogs your not going to like the bolt action. Your going to want a semi auto.
Also I used to hunt with laser and night vision but I'm way way better with a clip on thermal which I clip on in front of my day scope. If you are going to run it like it sits move the ir laser...
I can see and identify targets out to 400 yards but with my night vision and or thermal. But at those distances I'm more likely to miss than hit. With a ir laser I wouldnt go past 100 yards for a sure hit.
I prefer clip on in front of my day scope so I can always trust my zero. I usually use a...
I know this is old but At 1200 yards with my night force 5 * 25 atacr I can see perfectly hits on steel targets that are only 1 inch wide. I can tell you if it's a squirrel or a rabbit next to the target. So it is possible to identify you target that far out with good glass. And not to much...
I started out shooting .40 and got pretty good with it. But when I started shooting competition I ended up switching to 9mm and I'm definently a little more accurate with 9 mm. Having said that if my life depended on it I'd probably favor the 9 only because I shoot it so often. But no doubt the...
I'm thinking if getting one of these in .338 and 6.5. Did you get to shoot the one the guy brought to class? How did it compare to other high end precision rifles? Just curious. I'm kind of going to by one blind.
Thermal is junk unless you pay over $6k
I have owned over 6k thermal Thor Zeus and it was still just ok.
Gen 3 pvs 7 or 14. Automated
With dbal laser and a helmet mounted insight illuminatoe is the best way to run for shooting anything within 100 yards.
You can get the whole setup used for...
I like my Tavor. It's short and well balanced and accurate. Gas piston is great for shooting suppressed. The trigger is heavy but it doesn't seem to effect accuracy. You can mount whatever you could on and ar on it with no problem. The charging handle is in a perfect place. Ar are great but I...
I put out $1000 dollar bet my creedmore will out shoot your .308 at any distance past 600 meters. Let me know when you would like to test your serious tools. Or just show up at the tactical competition this coming Saturday at gunsite hills and bring a 308 and see how it goes. Don't get me wrong...
Thanks for your service. Submarine duty would kill me.
Ill answer that question with a question. When has the last long range tactical match on a national level. Or three gun in pistol match been one by someone I'm the military. Rarely happens even though army has there own team. On the pro...
Not trying to say that's not good shooting but the last long range competition I was in I had a 5 shot 2 1/2 group at 600 yds and I didn't even win with that. Everyone who shoots to win uses some sort of 6mm or 6.5 variant. And reloading is and absolute must. Sure for shooting a 6 inch groups at...
A savage 12 in creedmoor is your best bet. With match ammo it will shoot 4 inch groups at 600 yards. Develop a load and even better. 308 is good till 500 and then in my opinion the creedmoor flies a little better and is bucked less by wind. Also stays supersonic 400 yards longer then 308.
I...
I have the atacr. It's a great scope. Great glass and dead on adjustments. It's almost as good as my spotting scope. Get night force rings and a bubble level with it and you will never look back.
I use it on my .308 and 6.5 creedmore. Good luck.
Can you imagine how much more kinetic energy a 220 grain bullet
has compared to a 56 grain bullet. There is no comparison in knock down power. You can big
game hunt with a 30 caliber round and not a 22 caliber round.
I have seen videos of guys shooting a 9 inch barrel blackout at 300 yards and...
