  1. Two Colt Gold Cups national match, one plain and one kinda fancy.

Recently acquired these two beauties. They are the new Gold Cups made after 2006 I think. They have adjustable rear sites dovetailed into the frame. The front site also looks dove tailed into the frame. The sites look solid but the rear is black and so is the front, when lining these up...
  2. Guns you purchased to use..only for them to become too valuable to use.

Give me back my bullets, I'm in the same boat and feel the same way! You stated it perfectly.
  3. Guns you purchased to use..only for them to become too valuable to use.

I was an M.P in the army and carried a Rem- Rand that would rattle if you shook it. I promised myself when I got home I would buy a new Colt Government series 70. I did it cost $277.00 out the door in 1977 or 78. I have shot it about 400 rounds worth. I even put an idiots mark on it before I...
  4. Anybody pocket carry daily ? What gun and why ?

LCP max 380 with 10 round mag in the gun and a 12 round mag in the other pocket. I'm old and it is comfortable to carry daily. I know that Clint Smith says it's not supposed to be comfortable but comforting, I'll just agree to disagree with him on this point.
  5. Engraved FN model 1910 with pearl grips

Fabrique National D'arms de Herstal Belgique cal 32 ACP or 7.65 for the Europeans on here. This has real pearl grips and is covered with engravings. I'm not sure if it's factory engravings because I purchased this used and got no history on it. it's almost a perfect finish. It has 3...
  6. Sharing photos of an old Colt Lightning revolver

This old Colt is in 38 long Colt caliber. It has old birds head grips which I believe are original to the firearm. It's serial numbers are matching. This one was manufacture in 1880 per the serial number look up on the Colt site. It was originally blued but now it has a greyish patina and is...

  8. FN 1910 32 cal

Another from the back of the safe for my brothers and sisters on the Trader. This is an engraved FN 1910 model with real pearl grips manufactured around 1920ish in the powerful 32 acp caliber. What I have read about these guns is that John Browning offered it to Colt but they were happy with...

  10. Old Colt 38 Lighting 38 colt cartridge

Just want to share a very interesting gun from the back of the safe. I am not an expert on these so if you have any info or comments please politely share. This is a Colt Lighting 38 DA. They were made from 1877 through 1909 I believe. This example is from 1880 or 81. I think the short...
  11. 38 special WW2 Victory Model

  16. Smith snubbies

I also enjoy shooting the I frames especially the 32 long. My wife and daughter love them as well cause they are soft shooting, minimal recoil and accurate as well. I know they are a bit under powered but heck I wouldn't want to be shot by one. Can you believe in the old days some police...
