  4. Time to trade in your 1911s?

Not to mention that the gun's designer, JM Browining himself, was working on the Browining Hi Power when he died. Even JMB recognized that 45ACP in a 7+1 configuration was inadequate and moved on to the 9mm with more capacity. The Browning Hi Power was a major advance over the 1911 and this...
  5. Time to trade in your 1911s?

So now the question is: Did you run all of those 10,800 rounds through the same gun? When you say you ran x number of rounds through 1911's, it makes me think there may have been more than one 1911. 6. Time to trade in your 1911s?

Yeah, I think it is a silly argument to go with a 1911 or even a 45 at all. If you are carrying a gun for defense, your life is on the line. you don't go with some nostalgic nonsense "because it's what worked for great great great granpappy when he was in 'the service'". That's a line of...

Hi Guys, I am strongly inclined to follow a long-running dream of making my own gunstock. I know the first one will probably be more error than trial, but I want to make a go of it. Could you share the name of a good book or two that detail the entire process from start to finish -...
  11. Can yall help me out?

You need to go to the range to get this data. With the Nikon BDC, you can use the marks in the scope if you just know what range they are good at. You need to know how fast your rifle shoots the projectile and you need to know the height of your scope above the axis of the bore. M1Amen
