    What does this bayonet fit?

    That's an M7 bayonette for an M16/A1. I'm not sure if they work on the A2's or not. It should have a metal scabbard with a canvas strap and a metal snap and the metal wire (we used to call coathangers) to fasten it to a pistol belt. Hardball
