For ignorant people thinking Hornady Superformance is trash. I achieved sub moa with the GMX and the interbonds before they discontinued them. I have witnesses that saw this. It's not rocket science. If you research, Google, or what videos on the internet you will find others that also got sub...
You might not be. I forgot to mention that both of my Weatherby's out shot a Bergara (my brother's by the way) and a Remington BDL on that same day. I do remember giving my brother grief as my stock rifle was out shooting him and everyone else....all of which paid more than I did. I wouldn't...
New Weatherby's guarantee sub moa with good ammo. I've have seen two shoot .334 to .642 groups at 100 yards with multiple types of ammo. Dunno about Bergara...
I bought the 1st generation Gamo Whisper Fusion at walmart for $169.99, put on a cheap scope. I tried five different kinds of pellets. Two of the five will shoot 1 in or little less at 30yds. The other three shot 1 to 2 inches at 30 yds. They got more knock down power than the old pellet guns...
Yes it did. I'm trying not to say who it is to be "that guy." This place does have a range and was highly recommended on here. But, my experience was not good. They have some good employees that were nice. And some that were rude. Anyway, lesson learned. I don't plan on ever going back, as I...
Maybe you are wrong on all accounts?
When I contacted Ruger they said there was no abnormal record of testing for this gun's serial number and that no extra rounds should have been fired. The gun's group / gun's testing was in the "required manufactured specifications." I'm pretty sure Ruger's...
Thanks for your reply. I like your flashlight idea. They don't give a guarantee. This was my first time (and probably the last time) to this place. I should have noticed this. But, I though perhaps they came this way etc. Oh well. If it shoots okay, then it will be okay. But, I feel like they...
I did ask the dealer if it was "brand new." He said "oh yes, we just got it in yesterday." I could tell by cleaning it though that is had "more than one cylinder ran through it." But, in the dim light of the store, black cylinder, and being excited, I didn't notice it be too bad. Not until I got...
Yes that is just about exactly how my "brand new Ruger Wrangler" looked. My cylinder had burnt powder rings about the same as that, maybe even a little worse. Thank you for posting your experience / pictures. I think this confirms what I supspected. One thing is for sure, I will inspect every...
Yes, Ruger confirmed they fire a cylinder. This however, had more powder burns on it than just one shot per cylinder. And that's I'm wondering about. Some of the Youtube videos / only unboxing I saw look like "no powder burns/rings on the cylinder."
I have a question that I am curious about finding out the correct answer. Recently, I bought a "new" Ruger Wrangler from a place here in GA that sells both new and used guns. The Ruger Wrangler I purchased had been fired a lot by the looks of it, but was still listed (on the tag) as new. I...
Weatherby Vanguard's shoot moa or less with good ammo. Plus, they have an adjustable trigger already installed. Like others have said the Tompson Center Venture/Compass shoot moa, Savages always do good.
Recently at the local gun store I heard a woman looking to buy a .380 pocket pistol to protect her dog against a possible coyote attack. But, then the guy behind the counter said "oh yeah this little .380 (Ruger LCP) would be a perfect coyote defense gun. No way would I let my dog out against a...
To me a Gen 4 is perfect. If Gen 3 had the same frame as a Gen 4 it would be perfect (for 9mm anyway). But, I haven't held or shot a Gen 5 yet. I wouldn't ditch a great Gen 3 or a Gen 4.
