Per the Savage Arms website, this rifle is not threaded for a muzzle device. The barrel is threaded at the chamber end to make changing barrels easier.

Right now you can pick up a threaded Rock 5.7 with Holosun 407k for $600.
I was able to test out the Rifle Speed gas block at a shooting event back in November. Only 10 rds to fire but it was very noticeable in felt recoil and how the brass ejected from a 5.56 rifle. I would like to get one when funds are more available.

I haven't seen one in person but a YouTube channel, NFA Review Channel did a video a while back and it seems to be a great option. They are scheduled to be at Suppressedfest 2022 in November, going to check them out.
I read somewhere yesterday that DD was pulling from the Texas NRA show out of respect for the Texa school shooting victims as it was a DD rifle used by the shooter.
