Have one of each. For me they were entry level rifles, but I have had no problems with either and no complaints. That being said, I like Colt brand and chrom lined barrels.
I have never picked up or shot a Savage axis. I have a number of 10, 11, & 111's and am in the market for a .223 Rem. with accutrigger under $500 and can't find anything other than Axis. Can someone tell me the difference. Mainly, are the axis stock barrels as accurate as the 10, 11? Thanks in...
I don't really do a lot of business in North Georgia, but I can tell you the worst experience, customer service and everything that makes a bad store was at Adventure Outdoors after they moved to the bigger location on S.Cobb Drive. Terrible!!
And a store that some times gets a bad rap, but I...
You can have an AK and a hunting rifle in one. Try the "AK Hunter" Very, very accurate & uses all AK hardware. See the gun in the middle of the picture.
Guys, I have just purchased two Armson OEG scopes for a couple of my AR's. Don't know if you are familiar with them, but they are red dot scopes where you leave both eyes open to track or shoot moving targets without losing the peripheral view, similar to all the red dot scopes. The main...
Agree w jglenn. Looks like a Remmy 721. Looks like barrel says Ilion, NY. (That's a Remmy barrel). Receiver also looks Remmy. Is that the bolt release on the side or some sort of Scope mount apparatus? If its bolt release, that is definitely not Remington. $200 - 350. Keep it. and shoot it...
I don't know what you are talking about. I just say give me a Colt Commander Model. Give me a Colt Officers model. Give me a Colt AR. Give me a Colt Anaconda... etc. and Everyone knows what I am talking about.
Cutting up downed trees on my place between Warrenton and Gibson. Man we took a heck of a beating from the ice storm. Just got power back on Wednesday. Then I am putting my Leupold scope I just go back from repair in Oregon, back on my Remmy 700 .270, and mounting a new red/green dot scope to...
Done it last year for 2 reasons. Simplicity and downsizing to move to a smaller place in the woods in retirement.
45acp, 9mm, 44 mag, 22lr, 22mag, .223, 762x39, .243, .270, 12 & 20 gauge shotgun. I KNOW, I KNOW its not too thin but thinner than it was.
Haven't used the site you are speaking of but I have been meeting folks from this site for a long time and never had any problem. That's in the neighborhood of 25-30 meets.
I won a CZ 20 gauge Canvasback O/U shotgun in a raffle at the dove shoot I went to this past Saturday and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience with them. It seems a little stiff and maybe an entry level gun but I could be biased. I shoot a Browning Citori. Any info would be...
I haven't been seeing 30 cals around. Davids gun room has 50 cals for $15 and Bass pro has them for $20. Kinda ridiculous, but these are gouging times.
