    @Dodge man I’m no 1911 guru by any stretch of the imagination, and I may get flack for this, but my Taurus PT1911 has been flawless. Very accurate. I got the stainless one. They come with a lot of features for the money. Not the best out there, but one of the best values out there, in my opinion.

I don’t NEED either, but I wanted a good light and found a deal on a good light and it had the laser with it so I figure why not use it ya know?     for now, I think this is what I’m going to do. I’ll definitely sight the laser in and test it tho and see how it holds. I think it will hold well enough to hit a coyote. It may even hold well enough for decent accuracy. But eventually i want to change it so I can utilize the laser to its potential.

    I understand how it may have sounded, but I assure you it was a mistake. And I know that, unfortunately, as badass as it sounds, there is no sucha thang as a laser optic. But now I really want one!

    I don’t believe I ever said laser optic. Lol. I think I said I saved for a good optic and light/laser sight. If i did say laser optic, it was a mistake. But that’s all semantics. I’m more interested in what type of mounting system is best for the laser.

    I may end up just having to switch Handguards. Too bad because these are nice and light and have a good feel. I’ve never really held anything other than m4 style and a quad rail. The quad rail did not appeal to me, but I know there are inserts to reduce the cheese grating.

    thanks. I’ll research that some. I wonder how well something like that would hold up and if it would keep zero. It will definitely get the light out in front more, but I don’t think I’d be able to reach the on/off controls then. Maybe. Depending on how close to the fsb it mounts. Thanks man!
