I had a Llama 1911 in .380 once, didn't like how it felt or shot at all, got rid of it right away. I have a Bersa Thunder 380 (for sale right now), it was a good shooter and ate everything I gave it, plus small enough to be a pocket pistol. The S&W bodyguard was a pretty good one too.
Visiting family in New Jersey. Was asked what this was worth and thought I'd pose it to the ODT community....
Backstory: This apparently was gifted (without any paper trail) from someone living in NY, to a man living in NJ. That man has now given (again no paperwork) to my family member same...
Here too. Not only constant ringing, but measurable hearing loss. Unless you're right in front of me, I have a hard time hearing conversation.
And yes, earpro is strongly encouraged whenever the boom sticks are shouldered.
I'm in!!! After an hour or so of fishing with a 14ga hooked wire, I managed to pull the 2 wires through the hole where I cut them, stripped them and touched them to each terminal of the 9V battery long enough to enter my code and voila! I'm in. Thanks for the help gentlemen!!!
Being there's only about an inch of space I cannot see into the hole to put eyes on how far the wire fell. I'll cut the wall open tomorrow so I can get a better look at it.
I usually pull the 9V battery out of the port on the side of my safe and keep it apart from the safe. Tonight, as I went to plug it in (I have an older GunVault model, approx 21" wide x 60" tall x 18" deep, with the four-finger biometric pad on top) the little female end/port/receiver of the...
I have one of these, made by BedSlide. I bought it secondhand on craigslist for $200. It is rated for 600# capacity. Has been worth every penny and then some. I see them pop up every now and then on CL for cheap.
Where / When? Is this open to public registration? Would love to have a day of test drives like this, could even assist if needed (NRA multi-discipline instructor, current military).
I picked one up about 3 years ago. Pretty reliable, no complaints, although I rarely use it. Used to be my truck gun. Now it's just taking up space in the safe.
X3 on the Bersa. I also was impressed with the Llama, a mini-1911 chambered in .380 My hands are a little big for either of these (think cupping an B-cup versus a C or D) but nonetheless these are both great little guns.
Recently bought a pair of magazines for a Ruger P94 in .40cal. from an online supplier (the only one I could find that stocked them). They are made by ProMag. I received them a few weeks ago, but just got around to opening the boxes and trying them out last week. The problem I am having is...
