Ive noticed the same thing on some older GI mags that have been loaded for a long time, a year or so. Even had a spot weld along the spine of a Brownells mag turn loose and spit all the rounds out inside the safe. So I downloaded them to 28 and haven't experienced it since. Also makes seating a...
I was thinking the same thing. I can’t find the yellow followers but I have a few packs of the OD Green ones. They work nice. I also have some stainless steel CMMG followers but they aren’t as nice as the poly ones
Hey guys just came into ownership of 10 Okay Industries GI mags NIB. Just wondering how often do these come available? Are they worth anymore than regular Okay Industries SureFeed mags on the commercial market? They have the crappy lime green follower that is NOT anti-tilt but they are neat I...
It has been the most enjoyable semi auto hand gun I’ve ever owned. Several thousand rounds through mine and only issue was visible out of spec ammo wouldn’t allow to go into battery.
Not a lawyer and really don’t know but my suspicion is it’s probably like owning any solvent trap or adapter for one. I wouldn’t think it’s against the law until your caught doing something with it that’s not the original intention of the design. But that’s just my opinion....and we all know...
No love for the SP01 Phantom? Bought mine used from Clydes in Athens two years ago and completely changed my outlook on pistols. I’ve logged +-3k with only malfs being from FIELD&STREAM 115 gr. With visible out of spec cases. Love mine and It’s my daily carry. It’s a full size poly frame 75 with...
HOLY ****! 40k is impressive in itself but full auto 40k is outrageous! I think after all the wisdom and council I’ve gotten from you guys I will be getting a wasr 10/63. Especially seeing I won’t even come close to firing that many rounds, it should last a few lifetimes.
Ok I’m definitely not going that route. I’ve clearly got a lot to learn about the platform and will continue to search. Thanks to all you that responded. It’s been an eye opening and interesting thread. Again thanks guys
I believe I’m going to take the collective information from you guys and pass on the Hungarian. He isn’t wanting to sell the WASR yet so I’ll keep looking. I appreciate all the information and first hand experience with AKs. It has been exactly what I needed to know. Thanks again guys!
That’s crazy! I know CAI has sold some questionable guns in the past but I’m guessing as little (not 10,000) as I’ll shoot the WASR should be good when I’m dead and gone.
That makes perfect sense. Probably had a lot to do with my impression. I was too young and dumb to pay attention back then. Didn’t care about a old Soviet rifle.
