    Thanks for the info guys, it is a nice range the only drawback is I can only make it out on weekends and he is the type that wants to shoot a couple of times and then check the target lol

    Shop around for good deals on parts and build an AR. It's not hard to do, you learn what it takes to go boom and you can save some money. It's also fun and habit forming. And later on buy an Ak. By then maybe they will come down in price and you have both
