I didn't even think to photo the grip panels, they are slightly darker but not overly discolored. They cleaned better than other grips I have on knives.

I have! Between my 11 year old daughter using it in the yard, and unboxing (uncrating) presents tonight. She and I will have our write up in the next few days. First impressions are that it makes a good small utility knife, she thinks it fits her hand perfect.
After hearing it survived some time with Dave... I was pretty darn impressed. Emi Jane and I will put it through our testing over the next few days, but my oldest daughter is the knife snob so I may get her involved too!

Beyond that like most craftsman he was a bit tight lipped. Personally I am thrilled Dave took the time to meet the guy and carry his knives!
The knife maker can best explain the specs, but here are some basics. This particular blade is 1/4" heat treated hardened steel. There are a few of his blades at the shop, I'll get Dave to chime in. I know I can't wait to take this thing out for a test drive!!
