Used to have one from my grandpa when I was a boy. Good knife, just not a 'military one.' I've thought over the years where that thing went but can't remember for the life of me.
The premise of the $200 to spend on a Pocket Knife (as opposed to EDC for protection?)
If you're talking pocket knife for 'just stuff' then it's the Tac-Force I buy from Amazon for $9.99. For $200 I could get 18-20 of them to scatter everywhere. I can appreciate the super steel and CQB aspects...
Actually more information and use of an oddity like this I was looking for. A simple forged 6-12 point spark plug end would have been nice....not worried about the dangers of using a 'knife' handle for the other end of a wrench. I know how to flip it over so the sharp side isn't what I'm...
It is. I was kinda hoping the 'wrench' part of it would be a real socket type with teeth that would fit a lawn mower spark plug or something like that, but it's round and smooth on the inside. I'm guessing that's for the little pinky finger to hold onto with... :0)
In my case, I already had the 1 X 42 belt sander so it's just an angle problem now that can be ameliorated with practice. I would, however, very much like to have the WorkSharp system - so I don't have to worry about angle....just need to get a cheaper price...
That's what I looked into....in the meantime, I used my 1" X 42 inch belt sander without the belt backstop with a 1000 grit belt. The only thing I have to do is keep the blade at the same angle throughout the pass on each side. The unsupported belt allows the belt to give a convex grind vs a...
I've spent a LOT on expensive knives, bayonets and collectables. The best knife I've ever bought (and I have several to keep in locations where I might use them) is a Chinese made Tac-Force (TF-469) you can buy on Amazon for less than $10. I see threads where somebody has a broken point on...
It's my understanding that Nazi memorabilia similar to this are illegal in Germany. MY SIL who is German came to visit once and she brought three Nazi pins with her for me. Regular Red/Black/White Swastika, an Eagle Pin and one that was a mix of a pin made to commemorate a meeting between...
