Good luck with that. There's the new place near Sandersville, one down near Savannah, plus one in Tennessee that cmshoot uses.
Otherwise, there's 700 at Gunsite Hills near you, and 600 in Talladega AL. 600 once a month at Riverbend.
There may be others, but they aren't open to the public.
They fail all the time in competitions... I can't say all brands fail, but various ones fail pretty much every week at the bowling pin shoots. And if you don't practice with it, a lot, it's not faster anyway. As soon as you lose the dot, unless you have your body index under control, you...
This has been discussed to death, every few months. Consider doing a search...
But Anniston CMP and Gunsite Hills in Lexington are the obvious answers, for open-to-the-public long ranges. There's the place in Tennessee, also. (Search.) Nothing else public over 200/300 yards in north (or...
Well, It was impossible to see misses without a spotter and scope in Nov. 2015, due to overgrowth of everything around the targets, because the place had gone out of business. For the same reason, we had to haul our gear up on the berm, to even be able to see many of the targets-- and lots were...
AR15 work fine for lefties-- if you change two things. 1.) Add an ambi charging handle. 2.) Mag-Pul Battery Assist Device. And you can get by without either.
Bolt guns are harder, especially if scoped, but I know folks that grew up shooting lefty with RH bolt guns, and they killed plenty...
Alternately, someone that handloads can make you some dummies-- just color them carefully with a Sharpie to keep them straight. However, they won't have something to soften the firing pin blow. If the gun is safe for dry-firing, it won't matter. And the price is right (a few cents apiece).
You must fix the problem-- not compensate for it. As your flinch will not be consistent, you'll never be a consistent shot by compensation. You must work to break the habit.
Some drills or instruction will help. Or... Go shoot some bowling pins-- when you see all of your shots missing low...
I would have signed up Friday, but after mentally taking a quick inventory of what I have and what I'll need to load to get ready, I realized I'll be out of the country that week.
Next time though! I would very much like to try shots beyond 800 yards. That's been my limit so far.
They had to move it-- Noveske/Atlanta 3-gun is at South River in Conyers on the 11th. A whole bunch of the Cherokee regulars shoot that match too.
See some of y'all on the 11th. The rest on the 25th in Gainesville.
FWIW, sign-up for the 11th match at South River opened at 8 PM tonight. If...
Quite relaxed! Competitive, but friendly competitive. Everyone's helping everyone. It's not intimidating, and tons o' fun
Because the barriers to participation (time and equipment) are so low, I encourage everyone with the slightest interest in the shooting sports to try this match. Only...
It's 3-gun, but very very light on the shotgun. No loading on the clock, or at least very infrequently. They don't expect you to have shotshell carriers on your belt. Or any other fancy gear.
It's a lot of fun; I've done it about 6 times. I highly, highly recommend you try that one before...
Analyze why you can hit with the .380 and not the .22. Understanding that will illuminate the path to improvement. It's got to be trigger, mass, grip, or sights.
A common thing is to "jerk low" with a heavy or long trigger.
Also, a heavier gun is harder to jerk or pull one way or the other...
Check the local ranges for IPSC or IDPA matches. You'll enjoy those, and meet a lot of good people. And probably get a lot of advice, and opportunities to shoot with others that can help.
And... look for bowling pin matches, once you can hit a 5" circle at ten yards, consistently. If you...
