Before we got our own range here at the house I was a member of FCWA. Loved that place. Even now with my own range 50ft out my back door I still think I should go join again. Great facility.

Drive around for a couple of hours and it will become painfully obvious that state mandated training achieves nothing but creating a "training industry."

When I took my state required class in NM one of the guys in the class was legally blind. Scary as hell being on a firing line with him. He passed the course however and is state certified to carry a pistol up to a 38 caliber. The whole thing is a joke.

And that my friends is why the 7.62x39 is a horrible weapon against soft targets. They punch all the way through a person doing little damage beyond a 30 caliber hole. This is one of the primary reasons no modern military uses the 7.62x39. You want a bullet to stop and dump 100% of its energy...
Well that and if I had to live in NYC I would shoot as many people as I could get away with as well. I ****ing hate that town. Have to go back next month. :(
