I bought a whole new ifak after taking this course. Those discount ones at the gun shows are severely lacking. We have North American Rescue ifaks at my work and they never trained us on how to use them. I walked away from this class with a lot more confidence in how to handle a severe work...
Lol. Had to play up the unresponsive guy realism.
I was actually surprised that the particular position does in fact lock you in. I wasn't just holding like that for sake of making his demonstration look good
I was the lone ranger in the back of the room. I never would guessed I be in a class of couples, all alone. I told my wife and she asked why I didn't bring her. Maybe I'll ask her when I go to the combat carbine course
Agreed. I learned a lot. Turns out my cheapo gunshow ifak kit was junk. Just ordered a sweet kit from black scout survival loaded with North American Rescue components.
Thanks again for another great course offering!!!

I'm glad yours IS working for you... I was actually going to chime in and specifically say NOT to get the exact one you pictured. Mine didn't survive the recoil from 00 buck in a 12 gauge 870.
I didn't follow up with the manufacturer. It just went straight into the trash...
If I can't make it to this one, when's the next? Still getting my load dialed in. Getting out to the range seems harder and harder anymore. All I can shoot at my range is 100yards. Is that sufficient?
(18" 1:7 twist AR. 75gr HPBT .223 load. Getting about 1.5 moa off a bipod. No rear...
