I’ve never used the sporting clays venue there. Oddly enough. Usually hit Garland Mtn with some friends that are members there.

$306 annually (raised $6 for the first time in over decade).
The entry fee is stiff for a purpose. To get folks that want a home away from home to shoot at and not just join for a year or two and not return.
An invested membership means folks take care of the range a little better and with a...
The “tactical rifle” cert is offered monthly.
For a competent shooter, it’s the most ridiculously easy assessment in the world.
They don’t ask for your stamps... I pretty much only shoot SBRs with cans when I’m running a carbine there. Haven’t been asked... and wouldn’t show them if they did...
Doesn’t even need to be IDPA or uspsa.

Go shoot one of the matches on their calendar. All matches are open to the public. Chat up the shooters. You’ll find 2 folks willing to sign your form, once you show some competency.

I was out there Sunday building walls on Cowboy hill for USPSA. They ran a few groups of folks through.
They had a “waiting list” only due to them pausing the group new member orientation meetings.
They had like 40 folks out on Sunday in a couple of sessions to get it back going.
They are actively accepting new members.
You’ll need 2 current members to sign off on your application.

Your taste in firearms is inline with a FUDD type.. but not your views of the 2nd.
There’s nothing wrong with liking the kind of guns you like.
A true FUDD would sellout anyones rights as long as their wheel guns, lever actions, bolt guns and shotguns are left alone.
It’s the mindset that...

The Riverbend USPSA match is this Saturday, but already sold out. Could come spectate though. Get a feel for it.
