If you would rather drive than pay for a membership then go to Clybel WMA east of Atlanta. They upgraded to video marking targets and have a steel and shotgun range. You just need a hunting license or a fishing license which is cheaper.

FYI clybel wma pistol and rifle is closed for renovations but the shotgun range is open. Buy the fishing license to shoot all year. About 60 minutes east so with gas so high you might want to pay range fees.
My wife was planning to attend even though she might have to travel from Atlanta to Griffin during rush hour. However, they require cash payment for the fee ( which is is very reasonable) and she couldn't justify making the trip twice.
