What kind of old ford? points are easy .017 gap and you are good to go. Hell we used to use a matchbook cover when in need and without a feeler gauge. carb will require a bit more work. Needs to be thoroughly cleaned and rebuilt. Pretty straightforward job on the Motorcraft Carbs.

A good metal brake will do the trick. Depending on the bends of course. Might be able to do it with a good vise, or an actual hydraulic press, again depending on exactly how you need to bend it. If I had a bit more information like what the finish product needs to look like. I may be able to help.
