    Same shift...we had to march en masse across the runway to the main base. I left Keesler (was right over by the southern tip of the runway in the SW corner of the base) just before Camille. Last time I looked on Google earth, all those barracks were razed to the ground.

    You're probably right. If it was supposed to be used for a chain brake or similar it would have a slot in it for the excess chain to feed through to keep the chain aligned.

    I lived on Lassiter Rd. in East Cobb County for several decades. I remember when my grandfather sold the county the ROW to build the road. It was a dirt road until the early 60s and they came along and did a prison gang pave job (if you ever watched "Cool Hand Luke" you'll know what I mean)...

    You can take it to any O'Reilly Auto Parts store to recycle. Mine has a tank in the back you let you empty your oil into. I'd guess that most other Auto Parts stores doe similarly.

    Yes, it still is available....to the first person to meet in Jasper to get it. Ammoseek.com says this stuff is $1.70 per round so that's a free $34 to the first person...Box is not included however..

I have one gun that shoots 38 and it's a S&W Victory Model that was shuffled off to the Austrian...

    Only thing I have is a Victory Model 38 that was farmed out to Europe....this took the pre-38 SPL ammo like offered here...
