    If it's the avatar, US Route 54 runs from Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri to Illinois. California is not part of the route. Regardless, I was born in Texas in 1954 and will die in Texas in (year to be determined)! Hence the avatar.

    Ahh...peach cobbler and homemade ice cream at my Aunt and Uncle's house in Waco, TX as a kid. Great memories!

    I've lived in Pearland, TX the last 30 years. I grew up in Houston, 1954. One of the few local Houstonians. If I didn't have grandchildren, I'd move to the Texas Hill Country. Pearland is home base now.
