    I have had a few people approach my car in Savannah, the window went up and I laid a 45 visibly in my lap. I didnt know what they wanted but they quickly realised what they would get and moved along.

    I would assume these bills were introduced in light of the Douglasville shooting to reflect favorably on the senators in their respective districts. None will see the light of day and I'm sure 90% of Georgia legislators are aware it would be their last term if it did.

    I agree with OP, and I dont think congress is showing a great deal of interest in this. If their ability to balance the checkbook is any indication, I dont think gun laws will be changing drastically.
