Yeah, fortunately I've never been convicted or arrested or anything. I think what it is, is that some of the larger counties DO have so many applicants. At the moment, I've got several Correctional Dept apps going for me, and am in the process of looking into "podunk" counties!
I've applied for several corrections postions as well, I hope that they do not have the same standards. Thanks everyone for your support and help. And who has any information about this "private sector". I've never heard of it, but it has def. piqued my interests. If anyone has any info on that...
That's what I was thinking. How can there be that many people in LE that have never experimented. Perhaps my views on humanity are skewed, and there really are more good guys than I thought!
boneill- I don't believe the marijuana is an issue as long as it is not (was) an excessive amount. But yeah, I was looking at DeKalb and Griffin as my only two local options left.
I dabbled a little in cocaine. And trust me, I am fully aware that is a serious deal, but I haven't touched the stuff in a long time. Or any drugs for that matter. Hell, even tobacco has gone out the window.
