So, not doubting what your saying, just trying to clarify... If there is no BOS and you didn't think it was stolen when you purchased it (for a fair price). Could you get convicted?
What if the handgun you buy turns out to be stolen or used in a crime and you didn't know it? Started thinking about that one lately as I use these as CCW guns all the time. What if I had to use one to defend myself or family and it turned out stolen/involved in a crime when they checked on it...
I don't think some people will ever get that carrying a firearm concealed is not breaking the law if you have a CCL. But demanding proof you have a CCL is a violation of your rights. Again, I try to work with the LEO as much as possible because I repect what they do.
(No offense taken...however, I would argue that a "constitutional right" is nothing more than a government granted privilege. Your "rights" only exist because the government exists and creates an environment for them to do so. Notice that the 2nd amendment is not part of the "unalienable" rights...
