  1. GA and SC Legislators Working Together for Reciprocity

She is actually in Shellman Bluff. That's where my folks live. It's 25 miles south of Savannah. I think her commute is somewhere near 50 miles. It was a much better paying position so she decided it was worth it. My commute is around 50 miles. Monroe to Doraville. I have been able to start...
  2. GA and SC Legislators Working Together for Reciprocity

I live in Monroe and my office is in Doraville. About the same commute as she has. I would rather have the I-95 traffic she has rather than the crap around Atlanta.
  3. GA and SC Legislators Working Together for Reciprocity

She lives near Darien and is a parts manager at a big body shop in SC. My dad and I bought her a G26 for Christmas and she was paranoid about carrying it up there.
  4. GA and SC Legislators Working Together for Reciprocity

It passed but has to be signed by Nikki. My sister lives in Ga but works in SC. She has a GWL and has been a criminal in SC eye every morning when she drives to work. I sent her a message this morning and let her know that as soon as the gov signs it she can quit worrying.
  5. speeding ticket question.

School zones and construction zones don't count. Cops can still pull you over and give a ticket for a different infraction so it's best to know how the cops are in your area and don't push your luck. Don't try Stone Mountain Park either. My brother has ample experience there.
  6. Absolutly Crazy, I know who I wouldn't be voting for!

Another voice of "reason" in the gun control debate.
  7. Law called for me shooting on my Own land. What is the law?

I had a visit from Walton County. I've been target shooting out back and had never had a visit. One late afternoon I was testing some .38 reloads and fired 10 rounds and went inside. 30 minutes later a deputy knocked on the door. He asked to see my backstop and made sure I was shooting safely...
  8. Legality of firing a .22 in my back yard

We shoot Tannerite, SureShot targets, and my slidefire at my buddies house a few miles from me in Walton County and have never had a visit from deputies. We have had some serious shooting events there and not a peep. I shoot pistols in my backyard and have had one visit from a deputy. One of my...
  9. Law Abiding Black Panthers in the NEWS again!

He was trying to put together the reward money they're offering. Funny how the media doesn't make any big deal about that racist organization.
  10. NRA to UN

I am a life member and don't like everything they do but I'll be darned if I want the worthless UN deciding which constitutional rights I can keep.
  11. Applebees says no guns allowed

That Applebees isn't owned by the same company that owns Applebees in metro Atlanta. Each franchisee can set their own rules. Heres the link to the corporate entity that owns that Applebees. Apple Two Associates. Light em up with emails. http://www.strangcorp.com/pages/restaurants.html
  12. Applying for my carry permit tomorrow!

Walton county took less than 2 weeks. Clerk filled out the form on her computer, printed it out and I signed it. Went to room next to clerks office and got electronic fingerprints and 1 ink print and was out the door in less than 20 minutes. It was suprisingly painless for dealing with a...
