Looks like someone saw a resident from that apt shooting a gun and tipped the police. Now they are doing extensive background checks on the residents. You can count on the "Agony Herald" and WALB (distorted reporting at its finest) for the latest and greatest incomplete coverage.
Slight...
Lol, guess you didn't read post 38 sir and I think I will pass on the "ignorance." There's plenty of that in this world without me adding my truckload.
I have had some gunshops write the correct date and some put this date on the form and nothing has happened..............yet. I will however, go back and get mine renewed on 02-04-16 just to be on the safe side. It has made for a few laughs to say the least.
Main thing I gathered from other posts on here. Don't talk to the police without your lawyer, anything you say can be turned against you. If the shoot is legit, you will get all your cool stuff back but for the time being "stick a sock in it." Oh, please correct me if I am wrong someone.
Does anyone on here personally know of anyone who has been sentenced to federal time for the violation of a gun law? If there was a lot of that going on the media would have it in our face you can bet.
Ok, now I am curious...........how many people actually get sniffed or a warrant after denying consent to search? Everyone or just the "criminal looking" ones.
You could always engrave some "parting words" with one of those electric engravers....on high, they scratch pretty deep.
I would give it back though, not worth the potential hassle.
