Except for when the ATF does a spot check on your records to make sure you're in compliance, and then photo copies them...
Then visits people to ask them why they purchased so many things...
Ask me how I know...
Don't forget about the FFL audits where the ATF will copy down all the available info, then show up at somebody's door with a list of everything that person purchased (inclusive of manufacturer, model and serial #) through that FFL, asking, in a very friendly, professional manner, why they...
I think it's naive to think they aren't keeping track...

I don't think yours, or my life is worth any less than a legislators, but I do think, as a legislator, there would be a higher level of risk of being specifically targeted by any number of crazies, unhappy with the way a vote went.
Maybe view it as part of the pay package for placing themselves...
Guess I'm the only one who doesn't have a problem with them being exempted.
With all the nut jobs out there now, if I was in their shoes, I sure would want the ability to carry absolutely anywhere I went...
I got one of these in Florida about 10 years ago.
I went to court over it and it turned into a he said / he said thing.
The officer was out of his car at the time and didn't have any proof I didn't slow down. Just his visual observation and estimation that I didn't...

Now that they can legally require us to buy health insurance, the courts opened the door to allowing the govt. to require us to buy anything they want.
My opinion of course.

Sting operations...
They'll send operatives to try to buy or sell a weapon without using an FFL. Once you've bought from them or sold to them, you're arrested...
That's how I'd imagine they'd inforce it.
Cuomo, as the Attorney General of NY, single handedly destroyed or crippled real estate appraisal businesses across the entire country through a back room agreement between the state of NY and Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac that effectively became the law of the land, without going through congress...

Seeing that in my county. Folks from Atlanta move here to be rural...
What gets me is they quote stats that say gun deaths have gone down due to gun bans, but they don't mention what the overall violent death does. Such as knife deaths, coat hangar deaths, etc....
I read the whole post. Let me get this straight. If stopped, you don't have declare a weapon per GA law, but it's a fifty / fifty venture that some say do declare and some say don't say a word...
Also, and this is my main question, if stopped for a traffic violiation such as speeding or head...
