I wonder how many pot smokers were occupying space in the prison he was released from....
A big step toward keeping serious criminals in prison would be to remove less serious offenders.
Very well said. There's a difference between using lethal force to protect your property and using lethal force to protect yourself when you get violently attacked for not giving up your property.
Stand your ground had nothing to do with this. You don't have to give up your belongings in order to avoid a confrontation. You can't come right out and shoot them for trying to steal, but if they put your life in danger because you refuse to comply then you can use lethal force.
Yeah, my bad. I mistyped. The ROBBER was dragging the woman through the parking lot, and that's why it was LEGAL for the CCW'er to draw down on the robber.
I think the would-be robber was dragging the woman through the parking lot and that's why it was legal for the good samaritans to draw down on him. I could be wrong though
It will cost them more when talented people choose to take their abilities to another employer due to their policies. If you don't care enough about their anti-firearms policy to find a new job, why should they care about changing it?
I think the guy should go to prison, but the burglars are bigger scumbags than the shooter in this situation. They deserved it and their families deserve to feel their pain of their loss for not raising them better.
Seems like a lot of you think the second amendment has an asterisk. So easily distracted you are...
One more time, straight from the article:
This has very little to do with a man actually hitting a woman, folks.
