They are the same gun.
Colt tried to migrate for LE6920 to the SP6920 first but a bunch of police departments had a cow since the SP690 wasn’t approved for procurement.
Colt added some digits to the SN and went back to the LE6920 for a period of 3 years iirc. They were clear...
Well this one has an actual warranty and more than likely isn’t stolen.
This one is built in the USA by a US company.
This one is 13,000 Watts, powerful enough to run most homes
This one is dual fuel, and can be easily converted to tri fuel.
Natural gas will be your best bet for long run times. I would be hesitant to run one more than about 8 hours though without a cool down period. You are changing oil every 50 hours of use, so it would get old quickly.
100lb propane tank is 23 gallons. I don't know of any 30 gallon propane tanks, that would be like 130lb tank? 100lb propane tank would run a generator like above between 5 and 24 hours depending on the load on it.
On an open framed generator, the exhaust accounts for roughly 50% of the sound, maybe even less. It is going to be loud and it is going to kill you from CO. I wouldn't do it.
I really don't need one, but that didn't stop me. This gives me almost another 2k watts of power....if I don't decide to break my house into two subpanels. I'm tempted to do so and run my "sensitive" electronics off a smaller 5k watt inverter, and then everything else off of this.
They aren't quiet. I can still barely hear mine outside over the sound of my running Heat/AC. :boink:
I imagine it's much louder to my neighbor sitting in the dark reading by candle light.
This is an amazing deal. Really thinking hard about replacing my two year old Ford (Pulsar) 11500 watt dual fuel simply for the extra power and to have one that is built in the USA (even if it is with Chinese components, which I imagine it is.)...
