  1. Ruger RPR 308 win!

Yep, I got mine in 6.5 Creedmoor for $999
  2. 22mag!!!!

This is the first time I've seen it here at Cabelas since they opened the store about a year ago. I'd say the employees keep it cleaned out. One of the employees let it slip that there's one guy that works there that snatches up every Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor they get and resales...
  3. 22mag!!!!

    Lmao!

  6. Ruger 6.5cm RPR

It just occurred to me, we totally spammed the hell out of boomdad's thread.....sorry boomdad.
  7. Ruger 6.5cm RPR

Go with the AI, definitely. It'll be more accurate and you won't be as tempted to blow through ammo like you would in a semi auto.:D Yall will probably laugh at me for this, especially after me telling you about the aforementioned rifles I have. But I have a Ruger M77 Hawkeye tactical 308 with...
  8. Ruger 6.5cm RPR

N't OTE="Wallace's, post: 5709550, member: 19553"]I just don't see Ruger adding 300 WSM to the RPR lineup. I have shot both the 110A and 98B in 338LM, just hard to justify the hefty price difference between them. I will agree, the Barrett does feel more solid, I just don't think twice the money...
  9. Ruger 6.5cm RPR

300 wsm (winchester short magnum) is a short action, you just wouldn't be able to use a pmag because the cartridge is fatter, modified AI'S would work. I tried the savage 110ba, shot well, but just didn't feel quite right, so I went with the Barrett M98 Bravo and topped it with the Nightforce...
  10. Ruger 6.5cm RPR

They should've offered it in 300wsm!
  11. Ruger 6.5cm RPR

Yeah, the only way you'll get match ammo for 243 is to load it yourself. :thumb:
  12. Ruger 6.5cm RPR

I look for them to discontinue the 243, it's a great caliber, wrong platform I.M.O. The 22-250 might've been a better choice than the 243. But there again, I just don't see the point of offering varmint calibers in tactical platforms.
  13. Ruger 6.5cm RPR

F.Y.I........Wholesale on a Ruger Precision Rifle is only $825, that shows you just how much people are gouging on em.
  14. Ruger 6.5cm RPR

Yeah, unlike most places, they don't price gouge. Ruger Precision Rifles are $999.99, Kel tec CMR 30's are $649.99, even Hornady Critical Defense 22 magnum is $12.99, when they have it of course. I once priced a Savage 110BA there for $2,099.99 I believe, then I drove a few miles up the road...
  15. Ruger 6.5cm RPR

I got my 6.5 at Sportsmans Warehouse in Chattanooga, Tn for $999.99 about 7 months ago.
