    this kind of explains it pretty well. i dont know much about 1911's. i got the short piston because i plan on getting an fnx45T, sucks i wont be able to use it on a g21 but i dont want that annoying silver ring, or it to be longer. hope that helps !

    sport 2 for 449 those ar's sure are getting low in price, too bad they dont make a 300blk version for 449 or ide be headed there now. Dahlonega gold n gun got me my tac-14 for 331 out the door so ya thats a pretty good deal too. the sccy pistols are more expensive here then DGG normal price
