I still get hung up on the rewrite. The movie was shot with China as the bad guy. Then they looked at the worldwide market and China is HUGE, so they re-edited the movie and took China out.
I‘ll wait for NETFLIX
So another remake of Robin Hood?
The movies always gey it wrong. It’ Not take from the rich to give to the poor. The true story was to take from the tax man what was taken and return it to those it was taken.
The politics of socialism
As opposed to making a movie about something new. It's easier to do another remake:
Another version of King Arthur?
Oceans 26?
how about another denis the menace story?
another Dr Suess story?
I could come up with about a hundred books that would make a better story. But the Jason Bourne...
I have been seeing the trailers for a year.
Like I want to sit through 90 minutes of military failure and slaughtering of thousands with the inevitable rescue at the end.
I don't care how great the acting is. Not getting my time or money
One of My favorites ! Also catch the movie Serenity (Awesome bar fight) wich was made after the series ended. You will probably have to borrow or buy the dvd/vhs.
Netflix has the series "Supernatural" which I find worth watching. I don't know if you're into "Dr Who" or "torchwood" each has...
Like I was saying, it was a good movie. It had some obvious flaws. Jyn Erso is Handcuffed and being escorted to meet the rebel council. So why does she have a blaster on her right hip if she is handcuffed?
If they had some real military advisors giving tactical advice they wouldn't have...
It's like they storyboarded the scenes that they wanted to do and made the script match.
There were some obvious errors. Like when Jyn Erso is handcuffed and being escorted through the hangar to see the rebel council, she has a blaster on her right hip.
What about the scene on Endo. Thw tie fighters were mixing it up with the rebels and the laser cannon was taking out the rebels.
The BLIND Chinese guy blew into his hand picked up his weapon and not only shot down the tie fighter, but the tie fighter crashed into the laser cannon taking it out...
Yet the blind cleric demonstrated many of the same jedi skills without jedi training. Look at the last move with Rey in the force awakens. She had no training. What about Maz Kanata. No training?
Go back and watch the first flick again. Luke proffessed to have the ability to fly. He said how...
Nope. I have a reasonable expectation that the story line will be believable, avoid obvious fails, and includes enough individual details to make me believe the people who are behind it have actually seen the other films in the series.
And not just storyboarding a series of scenes and arranging...
I just saw it.
I think they could have done much better. Don't you just hate it when they make simple stupid mistakes? The girl is being walked to the rebel council in handcuffs, but she has a blaster in the holster on her hip.
The blind cleric for example could have played yoda to the main...
years ago, I worked at Robinson Helicopter. They had a contract for a dozen ships. each identically equipped. The ships were to be FAST response/observation platform for bank alarms.
Don't remember which south american country/cities were the focus of this project, but think for a moment, 12...
Another example of how its done in other countries. And exactly why we should fight tooth and nail, to keep our country from slipping into a third world country
