    Thanks to all. Checked everything that was mentioned. Turned out to be the faulty bulb socket assembly. Works fine now. Thanks again!!!!

  2. Problem with 1996 Chevy C-1500 Cargo High-Mount Stop Light(CHMSL)

    I hope this is in the right forum! What could be the fix for 1996 Chevy C-1500 where the CHMSL break light works, but cargo light does not? No fuses blown and dome light is on. I suspect a bad cargo light switch, wiring problem or maybe the light assembly. Open to any recommendations? Thanks
