    My 40 year old Craftsman floor jack just gave out last month. I also have an old Lincoln floor jack, built like a freaking tank, that needs a rebuild. Local hydraulic shop quoted me @$400 each to rebuild. No thanks. Where can I buy the rebuild kits for these?

    10 ply tires does not mean there are 10 plies of materials. It is a load carrying capacity rating. 10 ply tires get just as flat due to a sharp object as a 4 ply tire.

    I just don't understand why the auto manufacturers don't just make an EXACT copy of the old cars, except upgrade the safety equipment, like bumpers!?! Imagine if they made an exact copy of a 1970 Chevelle! Don't clean the lines up, don't change the window angle, don't change the wheelbase...

    My kid used to drive a 1990 454SS with a 5 speed manual we put in, when he was away at his liberal ass college. The Dems heads were spinning when he drove through the parking lots. Still has it today, 147k, no rust, and NO dash cracks.
