Looking at getting a slant 6 rebuilt.
Could just need a valve guide and a new seal. Had a Duster with that problem. Had the head reworked. Of coarse that was 35 years ago LOL. -

Forget about crossing a railroad. It rides a little better towing my 5th wheel. My son has 1500 Silverado that rides great. -

If you have a Chevy with a Duramax it only comes with an Allison tranny no stick shift -

This tows things well, Campers , Boats , Tractors ect. Other than the interior there's very little difference in any full size. There all have their pluses and minuses. -

Had a 2001 f250 with a 7.3. Drove it 17 years with only replacing the starter once the batteries about 5 times. Had the tranny rebuilt one time at 250000 . Great truck , My new truck is a 2018 chevy 3500 dually with the new 6.6 Duramax.440 hp. 914 ft. pounds of torque. Tows my5th wheel nicely... -

In 1975 I bought a 55 chevy pickup with a later model 327 for $250 . It not fast did not handle well, very poor brakes but it sure would light the tires. I wish I had it back. -
