change of plans, after doing a little more homework on doing the v8 swap decided not to get into that , so I've decided to keep it as original as I can so.... I found a rebuilt 300 in line 6 out of a 67 truck that Im picking up later this week, it will bolt right in and will be a lot less work... -

04 silverado,... 225k , no problems other than normal wear items and a alternator. Still running strong, just got back from a Illinois hunting trip with it pulling the trailer and utv behind it. Wouldnt trade it for 2 fords and a ram!!! and 5800 sounds way to high -

I replaced the rear disc brake pads on my chevy 1500 and took it for a short test run. when I got out of the truck I smelled hot breaks, the rotors were both hotter n hades and the pads were too, I waited a while for them to cool and took them back apart, both calipers were still pressing the... -
